What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Thibodaux Regional Health System?
As directed by the physician, responsible for rendering professional clinical assistance to patients within the medical practice in support of the physician(s). Works directly with the physician(s) as a liaison between the patient and the physician for establishing and maintaining quality patient care.

- Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program preferred.
Previous Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
Special Training or Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to learn quickly from oral and written instructions
- Typing skills required.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills.
