Production Associate (Flex)

Theory Wellness operates state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation and dispensing facilities in multiple states. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role will be involved with nearly all day-to-day operations of our Waterville, ME, manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities will include:

Cross-Departmental Flexibility: Support various production departments in Waterville, including Processing, Preroll, MIP (Manufactured Infused Products), Extraction, Packaging, and Labeling, as directed.

Machinery Operation: Operate packaging and labeling machinery, such as the label application machine and other equipment as required.

Flower-Based Product Processing: Assist in all aspects of the packaging and processing of flower-based products, including but not limited to grinding, labeling, gramming, and assembling prerolls and infused prerolls.

Beverage Production: Support beverage production, including but not limited to becoming proficient in canning operations.

Infused Product Production: Assist in the production and packaging of infused products, including but not limited to chews, tinctures, chocolates, and topicals.

Extraction Production: Assist with packaging of vape and concentrates.

Label Production Support: Assist with label creation, printing, and spooling, ensuring accurate information and supporting production needs across departments.

Inventory Management: Track cannabis and non-cannabis inventory accurately and compliantly within the inventory management system.

Regulatory Compliance: Understand and adhere to state regulations and company procedures to ensure compliance and product quality.

Work Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere.

Department Familiarization: Gain knowledge of day-to-day operations across all production departments to effectively support where needed and provide insights on continual process and team improvement.

Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Production or dept supervisors.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year working in the cannabis production space
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Work best in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly and comfortably switch tasks
• Comfortable working with multiple departments
• Strong, systems, software, and computer skills
• High energy, enthusiasm, and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
• You have a passion for cannabis
• You have a flexible schedule
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required
• Ability and willingness to focus on quality control and safety
• Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with company stakeholders
• At least 21 years of age
• No drug-related felony; ability to pass a comprehensive background check
