What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Administrator position at TheASPTeam?
Enjoy a hybrid schedule after you come up to speed for my Redmond based construction client has an immediate need for a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to own the payroll process for this 130 employee construction firm! You will be responsible for payroll for multiple projects, prevailing wage, and certified payrolls on a biweekly basis.
What you will do:
- Process multi-project payroll.
- Processing involuntary deductions.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll related general ledger entries.
- Prepare internal payroll reports and distribute to management.
- Working knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements.
- Reconcile monthly payroll registers and assigned GL accounts.
- Assist with 401K audit and statutory compliance audits.
What you will need:
- Expertise in full-cycle payroll.
- Expertise in legislation, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent problem solving.
- Supervise other payroll staff.
- Adherence with policy and procedure.
- Work with Accounting Team and Human Resources.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in accounting, with 3- 5 years of work-related payroll experience in a multi-job corporate environment.
- 3-5 years’ experience working “in house” payroll software.
- Basic understanding of GAAP and account reconciliations.
