Payroll Administrator (Contract - 8 Months, Hybrid)Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid Schedule)Compensation: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour, depending on experienceWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Administrator to support our client's payroll operations on an 8-month contract. This hybrid role is ideal for a payroll professional who is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in processing payroll accurately while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Key Responsibilities:Process bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employeesReview and audit timesheets, payroll registers, and payroll reports for accuracyEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulationsMaintain payroll records, employee deductions, garnishments, and benefit withholdingsRespond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerCoordinate payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, bonuses, and pay adjustmentsPrepare and submit payroll-related reports, including taxes and audits as neededPartner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee data and payroll postingsSupport month-end close activities related to payroll and labor reportingQualifications:2 years of payroll processing experienceStrong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practicesExperience with payroll systems and timekeeping platformsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionStrong Excel skills and comfort working with payroll reportsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsWork Schedule:Hybrid schedule with a mix of remote and in-office work in SeattleBenefits:LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
