What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Manager position at The Youth Service Bureau of Jay County, Inc.?
Are you good with your hands and looking for a flexible schedule? We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all company facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. Work Schedule: Approx: 20 hours week Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, flex time (Requires some irregular work hours and response to emergency maintenance/security situations)
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in repair/maintenance of building/contents. General knowledge of electric and plumbing. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for routine inspection of all Youth Service Bureau structures and grounds
- Report need for repairs and general upkeep of facilities to the attention of the applicable staff person
- Make necessary repairs as approved by Executive Director, as applicable
- Purchase materials as approved by Executive Director
- Responsible for seasonal preparation of furnaces, windows, and agency grounds
- Responsible for keeping the agency and facilities yards cut and free of grass clippings
- Responsible for keeping agency and facility grounds in order and good appearance
- Responsible for keeping all facilities up to code according to State Fire Marshall regulations and in compliance with all state regulations
- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of door access systems
- Oversee the maintenance of all YSB vehicles, fuel them up and complete timely safety inspections of vehicles
- Be available 24/7 or have a back-up in place to respond to emergency maintenance issues
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
