Position Summary

The Landscape Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and successfully delivering landscape construction and enhancement projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and leading field teams effectively.

This position is both field-focused and client-facing, requiring strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Execution

  • Manage all phases of landscape projects including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout
  • Review proposals, contracts, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
  • Conduct regular job site visits and inspections

Financial Oversight

  • Manage project budgets, job costing, and profitability
  • Track labor hours, material usage, and equipment costs
  • Identify and address cost overruns proactively
  • Approve and manage change orders
  • Work closely with estimating and operations to improve future bids

Crew Leadership & Field Coordination

  • Lead and support foremen and field crews
  • Provide clear direction and expectations on job sites
  • Hold teams accountable for productivity, quality, and safety
  • Assist with hiring, training, and performance management

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during projects
  • Provide updates on progress, timelines, and any issues
  • Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction
  • Address concerns professionally and resolve conflicts quickly
  • Build long-term client relationships for repeat business

Procurement & Logistics

  • Order and coordinate delivery of materials and supplies
  • Work with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Manage equipment allocation and usage across projects

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

QualificationsRequired

  • 1–5 years of experience in landscape construction or related field
  • Proven experience managing projects and leading crews
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Experience with residential and commercial landscape projects
  • Knowledge of irrigation, drainage, and hardscape installation
  • Familiarity with job costing or project management software (Aspire a plus)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
