What You’ll Do:
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll:
- Process customer payments, balance cash receipts, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Communicate with customers via email, phone, and in person regarding billing, service issues, and general inquiries.
- Guide customers through service applications, transfers, and terminations, ensuring adherence to PA PUC regulations.
- Prepare and manage documentation for new service, ownership transfers, complaints, and more.
- Assist customers with payment agreements and collections on delinquent accounts following company policies.
- Schedule service connections and disconnections, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Resolve basic customer issues and provide accurate account information.
- Support other team members as needed and contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
- An Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or at least five years of customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and employees. Bilingual skills (Spanish) are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Internet Explorer.
- The ability to learn and apply knowledge of PA PUC regulations and the company’s tariff.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
