The White Loft NYC is looking for a Creative Strategist (freelance / part-time) to help shape and grow the studio’s brand and support the development of its photography and creative work.
We’re looking for someone who understands how visual brands are built in the real world — someone with experience across branding, creative direction, and marketing within photography, fashion, production, or design. The role focuses on defining our identity, refining our messaging, and building a clear strategy for reaching creative directors, producers, agencies, and brands.
What this role involves:
- Shaping brand identity and visual direction
- Refining messaging, positioning, and tone
- Developing marketing strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, website, and SEO
- Building outreach systems for producers, agencies, and creative teams
- Creating a long-term growth plan for the studio
- Advising on content, portfolio development, and brand presentation
- Helping guide new visual projects that elevate the studio’s presence
Ideal experience:
- Background in creative direction, branding, photography, or production
- Strong understanding of the creative industry and how clients hire talent
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically
- Confident taste and visual sensibility
- Experience developing systems and long-term plans, not just ideas
- Familiarity with NYC creative markets is a plus
Compensation:
Competitive, based on experience. Monthly retainer preferred.
