About the Role
The Wesley is a 49-key boutique hotel in the center of Page, Arizona, minutes from Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon. We relaunched in 2026 and are partway through a full renovation, so this is a chance to shape a hotel while it is still being built, not just keep one running.
We're looking for a General Manager to lead the hotel day to day and own its results. This role has full GM authority and reports directly to ownership. Our front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and overnight virtual assistant teams own the daily tasks. The GM makes sure they're done right, steps in when they aren't, and builds a team that runs well without constant oversight.
Pay
$60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a quarterly performance bonus opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, and make sure every department works from documented SOPs
- Drive revenue and profit against budget, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor cost, and operating expenses
- Protect guest experience and online reputation across Google, Booking.com, Expedia, and Airbnb
- Hire, train, schedule, and develop staff, and build leads who can handle shifts and decisions on their own
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and the remaining renovation work, and return rooms to service on schedule
- Keep the hotel safe and compliant, and report incidents to ownership within 24 hours
- Report results to ownership weekly, with monthly scorecard reviews and quarterly performance reviews
What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Review the overnight handover, today's arrivals and departures, and staffing coverage
- Check pace and pickup, scan new reviews, and make sure every one gets a response
- Walk the rooms, pool, courtyard, and grounds, and set priorities with housekeeping and maintenance
- Be visible in the lobby at peak check-in, handle escalations, and close the day with a clean handover
Qualifications
Required:
- 5 years of hotel management experience, including at least 2 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
- Proven experience managing a budget and P&L
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Availability for on-call emergencies outside scheduled hours
Preferred:
- Current or prior experience as a hotel General Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Mews or a similar cloud-based PMS (we also run Akia, Notion, and keyless room entry)
- Revenue management and OTA channel experience
- Experience leading a property through renovation or reopening
Schedule
Built around our busiest days, Wednesday through Sunday, with core hours on property (roughly 11 AM to 6 PM) and on-call availability when off property. You are ownership's point person for the hotel.
