We’re hiring a Financial Advisor on behalf of our client, a growing hybrid wealth management firm focused on delivering high-touch retirement planning across Central Texas.
This is a relationship-driven advisory role. You’ll step in once a new client chooses to work with the firm, help implement their retirement plan, and become their long-term advisor. About the Firm
The firm is an independent hybrid RIA with deep roots in retirement income planning and a long-standing partnership with a national marketing and practice management leader.
Key highlights:
• Consistently adding $100M in new assets each year, with a long-term vision of scaling to $1B of new assets annually
• Clients are primarily pre-retirees and retirees (ages 55–70) with $1M–$5M in investable assets
• Planning includes retirement income, tax strategies, portfolio sustainability, and light estate planning, supported by internal CPAs and external attorneys

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in post-close meetings and help finalize and implement retirement plans
• Lead regular client review meetings—translating complex planning concepts into warm, clear guidance
• Coordinate closely with the paraplanner to prepare scenarios, reports, and meeting deliverables
• Work with the new business and service teams to manage onboarding, transfers, RMDs, and account maintenance
• Maintain proactive communication, timely follow-up, and accurate documentation
• Build trust-based relationships that support strong retention and natural referral flow
• Engage in team meetings, EOS implementation, and firm-wide initiatives as the organization scales
Ideal Candidate
Experience & Background
• Several years of direct client-facing experience in financial planning, wealth management, or advisory roles
• Strong foundation in retirement income planning and working with pre-retirees or retirees
• Experience in an RIA or hybrid environment is helpful but not required
Licenses & Credentials
CFP® strongly preferred
Series 65 or Series 7 66 strongly preferred
Life & Health license (or willingness to obtain promptly)

Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $90,000
• Year 1 Expected OTE: $120,000–$150,000 for high-performing advisors
• Upside tied to client retention, production, and long-term growth of your book
