What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Relations Specialist position at The Well?
Client Relations Specialist – Independent Wealth Management Practice
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC (Onsite, Full-Time)
Compensation: $60,000 Performance Bonuses 401(k) Insurance Stipend
Our client is growing—and we're hiring a Client Relations Specialist to become the right hand of a top-producing, independent wealth advisor based in Myrtle Beach.
This is a high-trust, high-impact seat inside a boutique practice that's ranked in the top 1% nationally for nearly a decade—managing significant client assets across roughly 1,000 households, with a book built entirely on service and integrity rather than sales pressure.
Why this role?
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a loyal, long-tenured client base—prepping the advisor for appointments, coordinating annual reviews, and managing the details that keep a fast-paced book running smoothly
- Work directly alongside leadership in a tight-knit team where your work is seen and valued every single day
- Own a mix of client-facing relationship management and behind-the-scenes operations—no two days look the same
- Step into a well-oiled, established practice with deep back-office support (marketing, technology, compliance, and coaching resources) already in place
- Real earning growth—recognition bonuses, a 401(k) match, and a compensation path that rewards initiative.
What you bring:
- Experience in a client-facing service, administrative, or coordinator role — financial services, legal, or corporate backgrounds are a strong fit
- A detail-obsessed, highly organized approach with strong memory retention and the ability to multitask across shifting priorities
- Comfort with Excel and PDF tools at minimum, plus the confidence to learn new systems independently
- A humble, coachable, and self-directed work style—someone who can run with direction and doesn't need hand-holding
- Warmth and patience for working with an older client demographic in person
What we offer:
- $60,000 base salary, with a track record of growth toward the $85,000–$100,000 range for tenured team members
- Discretionary recognition bonuses (commonly $1,000–$5,000 ), with the potential for $10,000–$15,000 in strong years
- 401(k) starting after 90 days
- $400/month insurance stipend
- A stable, established book of business and a leadership team invested in your long-term growth
