We are seeking an energetic, organized, and conscientious Administrative Assistant/Docketing. The ideal candidate will epitomize a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a client-focused approach.
What you will be doing:
- Be a member of Administrative Services Departments, specifically the Docketing Departments.
- Perform patent docketing, including application filing docketing and prosecution docketing.
- Preparation of administrative correspondence.
- Assist with additional Administrative Services responsibilities as needed, including docketing, filing of documents with the USPTO, data entry, and other related tasks.
What you will bring:
- Three years of docketing experience (knowledge of foreign patent docketing is a plus).
- Proficient with docketing systems, such as Anaqua, PerfectLaw, FoundationIP (FIP), or similar platforms.
- A thorough understanding of patent annuities and maintenance fee processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment to meet production needs.
- Familiar with Zoom and/or other video and telephone conference services.
Additional Information:
Remote opportunities are available, and the candidate should reside in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Florida, or West Virginia. Candidates located in the Pittsburgh area will be required to complete some training onsite.
