JOB SUMMARY:
Our Restaurant Bartenders / Servers provide service to restaurant guests by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to bar patrons, and ensuring that guests have a pleasant experience.
Will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. This position requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is preferred, but not required. Applicant needs to have outstanding customer service skills to be considered for the position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
· Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
· Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
· Plan and present bar menu and specials
· Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
· Check customers’ identification and confirm customer meets legal drinking age
· Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
· Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
· Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
· Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
· Computer literacy
· Knowledge of a second language is a plus
· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
· Ability to keep your area organized, stocked and clean
· Relevant training certificate
· Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
· Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
· Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
Education and Experience:
· Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
· Must successfully complete restaurant’s training course.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
· Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

NOTE: The hotel functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an associate from their accustomed shift as business demands. In addition, I understand that business determines the amount of hours I work. A minimum of 45 hours a week and could be more based on business/staffing needs.
