ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Meets company quality standards in preparation and presentation of cocktails. Achieves planned product costs by adhering to portion standards.
• Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule. Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned. Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
• Exemplifies hospitality standards. Answers guest's questions about the restaurant. Handles requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
• Cooperates with management and co-workers to assists others with duties, if needed. Communicates suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.
• Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
• Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.
• Accomplishes all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift. Immediately reports any unsafe condition or unsafe act, accident, or injury.

1. **Mixing and Serving Drinks**

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, according to standard recipes.

- Ensure the quality and consistency of drinks to meet guest expectations.

2. **Guest Interaction**

- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Provide recommendations on drinks, taking into account guest preferences and requests.

- Maintains a professional relationship with the guests.

3. **Maintaining Bar Inventory**

- Assist management in maintenance and accounting of the bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of beverages and supplies.

- Place orders for replenishment when necessary.

4. **Cocktail Creation**

- Develop and create new and innovative cocktails for approval, keeping up with industry trends.

- Present drinks in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

5. **Adhering to Health and Safety Standards**

- Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines in the preparation and serving of drinks.

- Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times.

6. **Collaboration with Staff**

- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a smooth flow of service.

- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff for seamless operations.

7. **Knowledge of Drink Menus**

- Stay informed about the current drink menus, wine list, features, and promotions.

- Educate guests on available beverage options.

8. **Upselling and Promotions**

- Upsell premium or featured food and drink to enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cocktail bartender in a complex environment; proper shaking, stirring, dilution and preparation techniques while talking, prepping, closing checks and being able to thrive in a multitasked enivorment will be part of the interview.

- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, advanced functional wine knowledge and the ability to speak to the details on a daily basis.

- Excellent guest service and communication skills.

- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

-ServeSafe food handler and alcohol will be mandatory for all FOH staff. Classes will be provided if you do not already have them.
