Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance reports.
- Develop and maintain financial projections, forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking relationships, and overall financial position.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate financial performance across locations, providers, departments, programs, and service lines.
- Analyze revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, denials, payer reimbursement, AR aging, and revenue trends.
- Review payer mix, reimbursement rates, provider productivity, and profitability by service line or location.
- Develop financial models and profitability analyses for new programs, locations, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for cost containment, improved collections, operational efficiency, and stronger financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, billing-related financial requirements, reporting standards, and internal policies.
- Supervise accounting staff, finance personnel, billing-related financial reporting, and external accountants or vendors as needed.
- Review contracts, vendor agreements, payer-related financial terms, and potential financial risks.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, regulatory financial reporting, and other required financial submissions.
- Implement and improve financial systems, accounting processes, reporting structures, and dashboard reporting.
- Prepare reports, financial summaries, and presentations for ownership and executive leadership meetings.
- Support strategic planning, mergers, acquisitions, expansion opportunities, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
- CPA, MBA, or advanced financial certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of senior financial management experience.
- Prior experience in healthcare, medical group operations, behavioral health, outpatient healthcare, or multi-site healthcare operations strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle management, insurance billing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics.
- Experience overseeing financial performance across multiple providers, locations, departments, programs, or service lines.
- Ability to analyze revenue cycle performance, payer mix, reimbursement rates, provider productivity, profitability, and overall financial trends.
- Experience with accounting platforms, healthcare billing systems, EMR-integrated financial reporting, and financial management software.
- Experience supporting organizational growth, new service lines, partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, or expansion initiatives preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to see both the big picture and operational details.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Salary : $150,000 - $250,000
