Key Responsibilities
Job Preparation (“Make Ready”)
- Review job tickets for specifications and production requirements
- Set up wide-format and flatbed printers for each job
- Prepare materials, substrates, and digital files for output
- Verify job details and clarify questions with supervisors or account coordinators
- Operate wide-format and flatbed printing equipment
- Perform digital cutting, trimming, mounting, lamination, and other finishing tasks
- Monitor print quality, color accuracy, alignment, and consistency throughout production
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and high-quality output in a deadline-driven environment
- Execute kitting and packing operations to prepare jobs for shipping or installation
- Communicate proactively with customer service regarding job status or issues
- Organize, package, and label completed materials accurately
- Move completed jobs to designated areas for shipping or next-stage production
- Prepare customer samples and report shortages or print variances
- Clean and maintain all printing and finishing equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, including calibration, lubrication, and basic repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production workspace
- Minimum one year of experience in wide-format or digital print production
- Experience with one or more of the following: wide-format printing, flatbed printing, small-format digital, mounting, lamination, or bindery
- Ability to work independently while producing consistent, high-quality output
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic mechanical understanding and ability to troubleshoot production issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
