Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Laser/Digital Press Operators and Inkjet Operators to join our high-volume production team. These roles are essential to ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency across our print and mail operations. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
We are currently hiring for:
- 1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-7:30 AM
Responsibilities
Laser / Digital Press Operator
- Set up and operate laser and digital press equipment (OCE, Konica, Kyocera)
- Monitor multiple print devices to ensure continuous production
- Adjust settings such as paper size, toner levels, alignment, and feed controls
- Start, track, and verify print jobs using production software
- Inspect printed materials for quality, color consistency, and accuracy
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Maintain production speed and meet daily output targets
- Set up and operate inkjet and tabber machines (including AutoPen)
Inkjet Operator
- Ensure proper addressing, barcoding, and mail formatting
- Adjust machine settings for alignment, feed speed, and print quality
- Monitor ink levels, clear jams, and maintain consistent output
- Verify job accuracy and compliance with mailing specifications
- Follow USPS automation and mailing regulations
- Label, sort, and prepare completed jobs for mailing
Shared Responsibilities (All Operators)
- Load paper, refill toner/ink, and maintain machine readiness
- Inspect finished products for overall quality and consistency
- Accurately complete production logs and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Report equipment or production issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Work overtime as needed
Requirements
- Ability to operate machinery independently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Team-oriented with a professional attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with laser printing, inkjet, mailing, or production equipment
- Knowledge of USPS automation mail regulations
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Entry-level friendly: up to 3 months of related experience or training
