The Vista at Hammock Cove is currently hiring for part-time and as needed Front Desk Concierge staff members. The Front Desk Receptionist/Concierge is the first point of contact for all visitors, residents, and staff. This position combines administrative duties with customer service to provide an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who is professional, friendly, and enjoys helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest & Resident Relations: Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors with a warm, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Phone & Email Management: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and forward inquiries to appropriate staff members.
- Concierge Services: Provide guests and residents with personalized information, including directions, facility amenities, event schedules, and recommendations.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, update contact lists, and assist with scheduling appointments or reservations.
- Visitor Management: Monitor visitor sign-ins and ensure that all guests are appropriately escorted and follow security protocols.
- Problem Resolution: Address any concerns or issues raised by residents or visitors, providing solutions or escalating as needed.
- Facility Coordination: Assist with managing common areas, ensuring they are clean, welcoming, and operational.
- Special Requests: Help facilitate any special requests from residents, such as arranging transportation, accommodations, or personal needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure that daily operations run smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or concierge role preferred, but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college or relevant certifications a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, email, etc.) and basic office equipment (phone systems, fax, etc.).
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
