Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical conditions. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, performing diagnostic tests, managing respiratory equipment, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications Include

• At least one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• RRT credential from the NBRC
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  
  

Preferred certifications: ACLS or PALS.

Key skills: critical thinking, interpersonal communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to handle equipment, and ability to work under pressure. Must have good visual and verbal communication skills and be able to perform motor tasks required for procedures.

Responsibilities Include

• Developing treatment plans with physicians
• Examining and interviewing patients
• Performing diagnostic tests
• Administering therapies and managing equipment
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting care
