- Assess patient needs, signs, and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document diagnoses.
- Document the patient's plan of care with nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
- Initiate and evaluate patient and family education.
- Revise and document care plans based on patient progress and changes in medical care.
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification.
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
- Additional requirements as determined by the healthcare facility.
