Travel Med Surg RN

Role: Provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, including assessments, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, monitor telemetry data, and document care
• Administer treatments and medications following standards
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment and ensure infection control
• Coordinate discharge planning and advocate for patient needs
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritize clinical needs
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Physical ability to move, lift, and assist patients
• Effective interpersonal, technical, and sensory skills
