This position involves providing direct care in a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, supporting clients in achieving independence and wellbeing through day programs and supportive living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with clients to develop community and socialization skills.
- Ensure medication safety, compliance, and proper documentation.
- Collaborate with a team to create and implement individual service plans.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and advocate on their behalf.
- Maintain sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with food service operations, including meal preparation, inventory, and documentation.
- Build rapport with clients, supporting their recovery journey.
- Valid SERVSAFE certification (or obtained within 60 days).
- Ability to acquire additional certifications (CPR/First Aid, Infection Control, etc.).
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with minimal points and access to insured vehicle.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
