- Conducting patient assessments and gathering health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Coordinating patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
- Communicating effectively with patients and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Providing individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Deliver safe, effective patient care in a medical pulmonary setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients and families.
- Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement efforts.
