The UPS store off Exit 8 is currently hiring for a SEASONAL (October-February) position. The UPS store associate is responsible for delivering world-class customer service. The Associate receives and processes packages for courier shipment, operates copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate exhibits confidence by knowing and learning the best practices related to the industry.The ideal UPS associate candidate will have retail sales experience, a helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, a fast learner, strong computer and internet skills
The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
- Great listening skills with customers and UPS Store team members.
- Take ownership of the customer's shipping problem and offer viable solutions.
- Take action to learn all product and service offerings and industry trends.
- Proficiently operate all equipment, software, and devices.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
