Job Summary
The Graduate Recruitment and Enrollment Manager is responsible for leading strategic initiatives to attract, engage, and enroll prospective graduate students across all academic colleges. This role collaboratively manages the entire admissions funnel—from inquiry through enrollment—while coordinating graduate recruitment travel, building partnerships with feeder institutions, and leveraging CRM tools to ensure efficient communication and data-driven decision-making. This position will work closely with the Director of Graduate Recruitment, Graduate Admissions, the Graduate School, and Program Coordinators. The manager collaborates with academic departments and university leadership to ensure alignment with institutional enrollment goals and supports the continuous improvement of graduate recruitment and enrollment strategies.
Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks
Recruitment Strategy and Outreach
- Develop and implement recruitment plans to increase awareness and interest in graduate programs.
- Represent the university at recruitment events including graduate school fairs, business visits, and virtual information sessions across local and regional areas.
- Cultivate relationships with feeder institutions, professional organizations, and corporate partners.
- Coordinate on-campus and virtual graduate recruitment events (e.g., open houses, presentations, info sessions).
Prospect Engagement and Communications
- Manage communication plans through email, text, phone, and CRM automation to engage prospective students from inquiry to enrollment.
- Deliver presentations to prospective students, undergraduate classes, and community organizations.
- Serve as a point of contact for graduate prospects, inquiries, and enrollment.
Enrollment and Funnel Management
- Oversee territory management and collaborate with graduate admissions, the graduate school, and CRM team to ensure data accuracy and appropriate outreach.
- Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Recruitment to monitor and analyze enrollment trends and data to inform outreach, conversion, and yield strategies.
- Collaborate with college deans, graduate program coordinators, faculty, financial aid and student services to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students through enrollment
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two (2) years combined experience in post-secondary and/or Secondary (K-12) Admissions/Enrollment work. Experience in lieu of education may be substituted on a one-for-one basis.
Preferred Education / Experience
- Master’s degree preferred.

- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to university recruitment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and use of PC's, word processing packages, CRM and Student Information Systems experience.

Additional Information
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
