The Senior Program Manager supports the strategic and operational administration of graduate studies within the College of Sciences. This position manages complex academic and administrative processes for graduate student recruitment, admissions, progression, and program operations, while serving as a key liaison among departments, the Graduate School, Strategic Enrollment, faculty and students. The role requires strong organizational leadership, process management, communication skills, and the ability to support a dynamic and research-intensive graduate education environment.

Core Responsibilities
- Develops, coordinates and manages operational activities, scheduling, communications, and logistics related to graduate studies programs, initiatives, and events.
- Collaborates with college leadership on initiatives and operational improvements related to graduate education, student success, recruitment, enrollment and program effectiveness.
- Supports graduate student recruitment, outreach, information sessions, applicant engagement, and enrollment activities while assisting with tracking recruitment and enrollment outcomes.
- Serves as a primary liaison among the College of Sciences, academic departments, the Graduate School, the Division of Strategic Enrollment, faculty, and prospective and current graduate students regarding admissions, enrollment, student progression, policies, and university processes.
- Provides guidance regarding institutional policies, graduate program requirements, academic procedures, and compliance expectations while connecting students with appropriate campus resources as needed.
- Supports the preparation and coordination of graduate program proposals, program reviews, accreditation and assessment activities, and related reporting requirements.
- Maintains graduate student and applicant records, databases, and reporting systems; prepares reports, data summaries, and documentation to support graduate committees, strategic planning, and operational decision-making.
- Assists with budget tracking, purchasing, reimbursement, and financial reconciliation processes related to graduate studies operations and initiatives.
- Coordinates administrative processes and operational support activities related to graduate studies administration and program operations.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve graduate studies workflows, communication practices, administrative processes, and student experience.
- Represents the College of Sciences in meetings, programs, professional associations, and university events related to graduate education and student success.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Three (3) years of related work experience.
- Additional experience may substitute for education on a one year for one year basis.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
- Experience supporting graduate education administration in a higher education environment.
- Experience working with graduate admissions, student records, or enrollment processes.
- Experience coordinating complex administrative workflows across multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with student information systems and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting research-intensive or STEM graduate programs.
