The Faculty Support Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all faculty-related processes, including, but not limited to, promotions, reviews, and recruitment. The role encompasses a broad range of duties, from administrative tasks to analytical responsibilities, and involves close collaboration with department chairs, Academic Affairs, and the Dean's office. This position involves managing faculty processes such as promotions and reviews, and liaising with department chairs and the Dean’s office.

This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.

Core Responsibilities
- Supports faculty review processes, including annual, third-year, and periodic evaluations.
- Oversees the workflow of faculty recruitment processes, ranging from job advertisements to candidate evaluations.
- Coordinates faculty promotions and tenures, ensuring documentation and reviews are completed on time.
- Maintains faculty databases, ensuring data accuracy.
- Collaborates with Academic Affairs for process timelines, guidelines, and deliverables.
- Prepares and distributes internal guidelines, checklists, and timelines for all faculty-related processes.
- Verifies faculty eligibility for various reviews, promotions, and faculty development programs.
- Ensures all faculty affairs operations comply with legal and university guidelines.
- Monitors and reports faculty development programs, sabbaticals, and leaves.
- Facilitates communication between faculty and administration, acting as a point of contact for faculty queries.
- Collaborates with Academic Affairs for faculty hiring and onboarding.
- Generates summaries of faculty affairs activities in Digital Measures for review by the college's academic leadership.
- Handles confidential faculty records, maintaining a high level of discretion and data security.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, Vocational Training or Apprenticeship in a related field.
- Seven (7) years of related work experience
- Additional education may substitute for experience on a one year for one year basis.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
