Job Summary
The Plant Maintenance Mechanic will work on the maintenance, repairs, and modifications of the central utility plant and all its equipment (i.e. chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.).

The Plant Maintenance Mechanic will work on the maintenance, repairs, and modifications of the central utility plant and all its equipment (i.e. chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- This position requires you to have and maintain a Texas Class “C” Operator’s Driver’s License and three (3) years of acceptable driving history.
- Two (2) years of experience in a related field.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant in an efficient, safe, and effective manner.
- Perform repairs on all equipment in the plant in an efficient, safe, and effective manner.
- Make any necessary modifications on all equipment in the plant in an efficient, safe, and effective manner.
- Walk utility tunnels to change light bulbs and look for any issues with the steam, condensate return, and chill water systems.
- Keep necessary inventory on tools, fittings, and supplies for all plant equipment.
- Be available to return to plant on emergency situations with no more than 2 hours’ notice.
- Performs other duties assigned.
