What are the responsibilities and job description for the π Recruiting PhD students & postdocs (Fully funded, NIH-supported) position at The University of Texas at Arlington?
We are recruiting both PhD students and postdocs in two research directions, with fully funded positions (stipend, tuition, and benefits) supported by NIH.
1οΈβ£ Instrumentation & Biomedical Imaging: Development of advanced imaging systems integrating ultrasound, optics, and sensing technologies for high-resolution deep-tissue imaging. Hands-on experience in hardware development, coding, or system building is a plus.
2οΈβ£ Nanoparticle Design, Synthesis & Application: Design of responsive nanomaterials, including liposomes and polymer-based nanoparticles, for imaging and translational applications. Experience in nanoparticle synthesis, characterization, and experimental work is a plus.
We welcome candidates from Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics/Photonics, Nanotechnology/Nanomedicine, Chemistry, Materials Science, and related fields. Opportunities to work on interdisciplinary projects bridging engineering, physics, and nanomedicine.
