This is a semester-by-semester, temporary appointment based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Multiple opportunities across a variety of courses are available and applicants should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Nutrition, or a closely related field.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field. Teaching experience in K-12 physical education. Coaching experience. Experience with learning management systems such as Canvas.

- Strength and conditioning (CSCS certification)/Weight Training
- Physical Education
- Sport Coaching (experience coaching individual or multiple sports)
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Exercise Science
- Exercise Physiology
- Exercise Psychology
- Sports Psychology
- Fitness and Nutrition
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in the School of Kinesiology and Nutrition.
- Maintaining course shells in Canvas for each course.
- Assessing student learning outcomes in assigned courses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Nutrition, or a closely related field.
