Job Title: Food and Beverage Intern – Liberty Hill (Seasonal)
Reports to: Food and Beverage Leadership Team
Objective: The Food and Beverage Intern is responsible for supporting daily front-of-house food and beverage operations while gaining hands-on experience within a private club environment. This position develops a comprehensive understanding of service standards, banquet execution, and overall operational flow from event and service planning through execution.

Seasonal summer position. Must have open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Objective: The Food and Beverage Intern is responsible for supporting daily front-of-house food and beverage operations while gaining hands-on experience within a private club environment. This position develops a comprehensive understanding of service standards, banquet execution, and overall operational flow from event and service planning through execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with all Liberty Hill departments and become familiar with Union League operations and service standards.
- Onboard and train alongside managers within dining rooms, banquet operations, and clubhouse outlets.
- Learn and assist with daily service including set-up, execution, and breakdown of dining and banquet functions.
- Assist in reviewing, understanding, and executing banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily operational communication.
- Support management during service while engaging professionally with members and guests.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation of all service areas.
- Observe scheduling, staffing models, and operational planning based on business levels.
- Assist with administrative tasks including menu updates, POS input, and operational documentation.
- Support inventory processes and organization of beverage, storage, and service areas.
- Work collaboratively with culinary, banquet, and front-of-house teams.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by food and beverage leadership.

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality, Business, or related academic program preferred.
- Previous service experience (hosting, bussing, serving, food running, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and assist with light lifting as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, teammates, members, and guests.
- Must maintain flexibility and a willingness to work across multiple service areas.
