About the Position

The Host's primary responsibility is to greet members and guests in a courteous and professional manner. As the Host is the first point of contact for the guests, the Host can assist the Server by providing guests with beverage service. All Hosts will strive to exceed the expectations of our members and their guests each and every time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet members and their guests to the Club with a smile and by using their last name.
• Assist with seating and answer any inquiries they may have when immediate seating is limited, must be able to provide members with estimated waiting times, record guest names, location, description, and number of people in party on waiting list.
• Must have knowledge of Club standards and be comfortable communicating this to members and their guests, including but not limited to clothing, reservations, etc.
• Treat all members in a respectful manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
• Interacts with members as they arrive and as they leave the dining area to ensure a positive dining experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months to 1-year Hosting experience in a hospitality setting. Wine, beer and cocktail knowledge a plus. Point of sale computer experience desirable.
• Ability to interact with customers, coworkers, and management in a positive, supportive, cooperative ways.
• Knowledge and ability to effectively communicate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment, perform duties under pressure, and in a timely manner.
