Host / Hostess – Japanese Restaurant
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of restaurant experience and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. Japanese restaurant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests with a warm and positive attitude
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
- Communicate effectively with servers and management
- Provide guests with an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience required
- Japanese restaurant experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
