The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items at designated workstations, ensuring that all dishes are crafted according to our prep and par sheets or specific instructions provided. - Prepares all hot items and some cold items for line and special needs purposes and team member meal
- Carefully follows standard recipes and/or prep sheets when pre-preparing and preparing all items
- Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions
- Ensures assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary
- Assists supervisors in maintaining safety in the kitchen
- Maintains neat, professional appearance and observes personal hygiene rules at all times
- Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations
- Maintains the highest sanitary standards
- Labels, dates and returns unused food products to proper storage areas
- Assists with preparation of other food products on serving line as needed
- Assists with other work-related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Previous Line Cook experience of 3 years
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) as a minimum.
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Skills
Food Handlers Certification
