Timken is seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Electrician to join our team. In this role you will troubleshoot electrical issues and repair machinery to decrease production down-time This role requires strong PLC experience, intermediate knowledge of electrical principles, attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots/Diagnoses any type of eletrical, logic, or electronic equipment by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting proper working conditions.
- Receives wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications and instructions from supervisor.
- Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains all eletrical, electronic, and logic equipment.
- Dismantles, inspects, repairs, adjusts or replace faulty parts and wiring.
- Reassembles and tests equipment for safe and proper orientation.
- Performs various related assignments such as soldering parts and adjusting automatic controls on electrical, electronic, and logic units.
- Collaborate with team members and management to achieve production goals.
- Follows all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Experience as a Manufacturing or Industrial Electrician within a manufacturing environment.
- 3-5 years of work experience working with PLCs.
- Electrical aptitude and understanding of machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria and engineered drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary : $33 - $41
