We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to manage billing, subcontractor, and project payables, while tracking financial progress through detailed reporting and analysis. This role ensures compliance with company and client guidelines, working closely with the project team to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage billing and subcontractor payable processes for assigned projects.
- Set up and maintain electronic folders, inputting contract info, budgets, change orders, and purchase orders into ComputerEase.
- Prepare and generate AIA billings, process job-related AP, and post monthly activity for AR/AP.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve outstanding issues and ensure timely communication with management.
- Participate in turnover meetings, monthly project reviews, and special accounting projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school, or 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Excel (spreadsheets, pivot tables, formulas), Word, and ComputerEase; Procore knowledge is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
