Key Responsibilities
- Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with court filings, manage complex calendars, and prepare/revise legal documents and pleadings.
- Client Onboarding: Lead the intake process for new clients and manage ongoing communication to ensure a seamless experience.
- Case Management: Utilize tools like Filevine or Needles to maintain digital and physical files; assist with RFPs and legal research using Westlaw.
- Administrative Operations: Manage incoming/outgoing mail, route calls, log new contacts, and handle basic monthly invoicing/accounting tasks.
- Experience: Prior law firm experience specifically within Medical Malpractice is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with (or willingness to master) Filevine, Needles, and Westlaw.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Certification: Notary Public certification is preferred but not required.
- Mindset: A self-starter who works well independently but values being part of a high-performing team.
