Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ft. Worth, TX, for an Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator will handle client inquiries, schedule appointments, verify insurance details, and explain policies or services to clients. This role will require maintaining updated records, managing client information accurately, and coordinating with team members to ensure the delivery of services. Additionally, the Intake Coordinator will engage with clients to assess needs and provide outstanding customer service throughout the intake process.
Duties
- Manage all intake scheduling for clinicians
- Maintain daily oversight of clinician calendars and proactively fill openings
- Manage intake paperwork and reschedule cancellations
- Document all patient communication in the EHR
- Notify patients of absences and planned closures
- Collaborate with intake to transition new patients into therapy
- Assist with referral processing and patient registration
- Contact new referrals within 7 days
- Verify insurance and collect required documentation
- Obtain necessary authorizations and PCP referrals
- Help reduce referral backlog and maintain intake flow

Qualifications

- Ability to manage high-volume workflows independently
- Spanish bilingual is a plus
