Job Description/Expectations

• Expected to answer and route calls appropriately
• Strong ability to maintain and organize files
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well as part of a team
• Draft all pleadings without guidance within the litigation department including, but not limited to: complaints, discovery, motions etc.
• Request medical records and bills as needed
• Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness
• Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.
• Create and file legal documents and correspondence
• Scan, print and upload legal documents into client database
• Maintain contact lists
• Adhere to deadlines and multi-task
• Expected to assist office staff as needed
• Provide administrative support to two or more lawyers
• Work from Monday through Friday
• Expected to assist in the litigation department by requesting Open Record Requests, calendaring for attorneys, and drafting documents.
• Expected to assist with other tasks as needed.
• Expected to track case costs
• Expected to verify receipt of demand letters, and calendar attorney due dates accordingly
• Expected to retrieve open records requests
  
  
  

Requirements

Must have at least five (5) years of GA Personal Injury Experience

Mush have at least five (5) years of GA Personal Injury litigation experience

Computer literacy is a must

Proficiency in English is a must

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office

Must have a high school diploma

Proficiency with e-filing is a must

Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per year
