Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser/Food Runner/Barista to join our dynamic restaurant team. This plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals and drinks promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all tables are promptly and correctly cleaned and set for new guests.
- Assist in drink preparation as needed, ensuring all meet our quality standards before serving.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any guest needs.
- Buss tables as necessary to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including assisting with dishwashing when required.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries confidently.
- Utilize POS system for order management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be available to work weekends from April onward.
