Duties
- Assist in the timely delivery of food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service
- Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and providing additional guest support as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay special requests or dietary needs using POS systems like Aloha or Micros
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and organizing utensils and condiments
- Assist with food preparation tasks under supervision to support kitchen operations when required
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and following hygiene protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining positive guest interactions
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus; experience with banquet or hotel service is advantageous
- Basic kitchen experience or culinary knowledge enhances your ability to support food prep and service tasks
