Project Manager
Baltimore
$100,000 - $150,000
Ready to Lead Bigger Projects?
Some Project Management roles are about keeping things ticking over. This isn't one of them.
I am currently supporting a leading heavy civil contractor delivering complex civil infrastructure projects throughout the Baltimore region. With a strong pipeline of work already secured, they're looking for a Project Manager who wants to take ownership, lead from the front, and make a real impact.
You'll be trusted to run complex projects from preconstruction through closeout, working alongside experienced Superintendents and Project Engineers while building lasting relationships with clients across the region.
If you enjoy solving problems, making decisions, and seeing the results of your work out in the field—not just on a spreadsheet—this is the kind of opportunity that can take your career to the next level.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take full ownership of multiple heavy civil and underground utility projects from award through completion.
- Manage budgets, schedules, forecasting, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and profitably.
- Lead project teams, mentor Project Engineers, and work closely with field leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
- Drive quality, safety, and commercial performance while identifying risks and solving challenges before they impact delivery.
What You'll Bring
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience within heavy civil, underground utilities, or civil infrastructure.
- Experience delivering water, sewer, drainage, deep excavation, or trenchless construction projects.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and project financials.
- The ability to confidently lead teams, build client relationships, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Why Make the Move?
This is more than just another Project Manager position.
You'll join a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering challenging infrastructure projects that keep communities running. You'll be given the autonomy to make decisions, backed by experienced leadership that trusts its people rather than micromanaging them.
With a healthy backlog of work, opportunities to lead larger and more complex projects, and genuine long-term career progression, you'll have the chance to build something that lasts—both in the communities you serve and in your own career.
If you're feeling like you've outgrown your current role or you're looking for a business where your experience will be valued and your decisions will make a difference, apply now!
