What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at The Sterling Choice?
Project Manager | Chesapeake, VA
Most project management jobs talk about schedules, budgets, and delivering projects on time.
This one is a little different.
You'll be responsible for keeping multiple live infrastructure projects moving at once, acting as the link between field crews, customers, operations leadership, and project financials.
Some days you'll be discussing production with a superintendent.
Other days you'll be updating revenue forecasts, reviewing project costs, dealing with a customer schedule change, or helping solve a field issue that's threatening a deadline.
The people who succeed here tend to be highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where priorities can change quickly.
You'll be managing multiple active projects simultaneously, tracking progress daily, maintaining accurate reporting, supporting billing and cost control, and ensuring crews have what they need to deliver safely and efficiently.
Particularly interested in speaking with Project Managers who have experience within:
• Trenchless Rehabilitation
• Underground Utilities
• Water & Wastewater Infrastructure
• Pipeline Rehabilitation
• Heavy Civil Construction
Experience managing project financials, forecasting, cost tracking, and client relationships will be highly valued.
What's on offer?
• Annual bonus opportunity
• Car allowance
• Long-term career growth with an expanding infrastructure business
If you've built your career around delivering complex field-based projects and enjoy being at the centre of the action rather than watching from the sidelines, we'd be interested in speaking with you.
