Sawyers Landing is seeking a Catering & Operations Manager to lead and grow our catering division while also playing a key operational role within The Station.
This is a leadership position with growth potential. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hospitality-focused, and capable of balancing catering coordination, food ordering, inventory management, and operational support inside The Station.
This role will continue to evolve as our catering and event operations expand. Based on the uploaded catering and BOH management details, the position includes event coordination, staffing, customer communication, ordering, and operational reporting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage catering events from start to finish
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after events
- Manage catering logistics, prep, staffing, setup, and cleanup
- Assist with food ordering and inventory management for The Station
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house leadership
- Monitor food cost, labor cost, and event profitability
- Help maintain organization, efficiency, and product consistency
- Assist with supplier relationships and ordering systems
- Support operational growth and new systems implementation
- Help expand and improve the catering program long-term
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in catering, hospitality, restaurant operations, or event coordination
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple moving parts at once
- Ability to lead both independently and within a team
- Experience with food ordering, inventory, or kitchen coordination preferred
- Flexible availability including weekends and event days
