The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Hamilton, Texas, to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for an exciting opportunity within their clinic team.
In this role you will provide high-quality nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional while supporting safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Document patient observations, responses, and provider orders accurately in the medical record
- Safely assist patients to and from the waiting area
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures by obtaining vital signs and health information
- Assist with surgical procedures in clinic and hospital settings
- Administer medications per protocol and provider orders; document appropriately
- Collect specimens and perform CLIA-waived blood and urine testing
- Process prescription refills and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers
- Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and appropriate supply inventory
- Manage formulary and sample inventories, including monthly reviews and disposal of expired samples
- Follow infection control standards, maintain required licensure & continuing education
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow organizational policy
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license and CPR certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- LVN training required; previous clinical experience preferred
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
