The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a global
logistics and warehousing organization to hire an experienced and dependable
Warehouse Handler for their Phoenix, AZ location.
The Warehouse Handler supports day-to-day warehouse
activities, including receiving, organizing, storing, and preparing goods for
shipment. This role helps maintain accurate inventory, efficient workflow, and
timely order fulfillment while upholding a clean, organized, and safe work
environment.
Working closely with warehouse team members and
other departments, the Warehouse Handler helps meet operational goals, follows
established procedures, and maintains product quality throughout the handling
process.
Schedule: Full-Time
What You’ll Do
- Receive,
inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and
delivery documents
- Safely
load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment, including
forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Organize
and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space and
accessibility
- Pick,
prepare, and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance
with shipping standards
- Maintain
a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Conduct
regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management
- Collaborate
with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily warehouse operations
and resolve issues efficiently
- Follow
all company safety policies and procedures while handling materials and
operating warehouse equipment
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- High
school diploma or equivalent
- Previous
warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
- Basic
computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
- Basic
knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures
- Basic familiarity with inventory software for
tracking stock and reporting discrepancies
- Experience
with inventory systems, barcode scanners, or warehouse management software
preferred
- Ability
to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more
- Ability
to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, with
certification preferred
