Banquet Set-Up
The ideal candidate for this role will ensure the function room is set according to guest expectations and Horse Shoe Farm standards. This position will set up, breakdown, and clean all space associated with banquets and events.
Responsibilities:
· Set up, stock, and maintain meeting rooms.
· Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and décor.
· Complete final breakdown of meeting room.
· Clean and return equipment to proper location.
· Must be able to follow instructions on the Banquet Event Order.
· Onsite transportation of equipment to and from locations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be able to multitask.
· Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
· Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50lbs without assistance.
· Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 150lbs on a regular basis.
· Must be able to work flexible shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Must be able to communicate in basic English.
Must have a valid drivers license
· Previous related experience preferred.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
