MARKETING MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager at The Horse Shoe Farm will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth. This position requires creativity, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to design and execute marketing campaigns that showcase our property as a premier destination. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with digital platforms, content creation, analytics, and traditional marketing methods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Digital Marketing & Website Management
- Maintain and optimize The Horse Shoe Farm’s website using the SquareSpace platform, ensuring content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics in coordination with our industry partners along with other tracking tools; analyze data to inform marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement blogs, seasonal promotions, and event highlights.
· Social Media Management
- Develop and manage a content calendar for all social media platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging posts.
- Create original content (photography, videos, stories, and graphics) to promote events, offerings, and the unique brand of the farm.
- Monitor social media trends, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to foster community and drive bookings.
· Advertising & Campaign Creation
- Design and execute digital and print ad campaigns to promote property offerings and seasonal packages.
- Ideate and implement creative seasonal promotions and incentives in collaboration with senior management.
- Leverage paid media campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising) to maximize ROI.
· Content Creation & Design
- Develop branded marketing materials, including brochures, menus, flyers, and property guides.
- Craft compelling email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional offers.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) to design visually appealing content with the assistance of our industry partners.
· Brand Management
- Ensure all marketing materials align with The Horse Shoe Farm’s voice, tone, and aesthetic.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, from digital platforms to print collateral.
- Represent The Horse Shoe Farm’s values in public relations efforts by working closely with our industry partners, including coordinating VIP and media stays.
· Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and report on campaign performance across all channels, providing actionable recommendations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Track guest feedback and online reviews to inform strategy and enhance guest experiences.
· Team Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, spa, and food & beverage, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Assist senior management in creating and promoting unique packages and guest offerings.
- Budget Management
o Oversee and maintain a marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently across various channels and ensuring campaigns remain within budget while achieving maximum ROI.
o Regularly review marketing expenses and suggest cost-effective solutions to enhance campaign performance and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Required
o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
o Strong proficiency in SquareSpace and Google Analytics.
o Experience with digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
o Knowledge of SEO best practices and email marketing platforms.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or equivalent tools.
o Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Preferred
o Photography skills for content creation.
o Experience with Google Ads and social media advertising.
o Familiarity with the local Hendersonville and Western North Carolina markets.
o Hospitality industry experience.
PROPOSED HOURS:
40 Hours per Week, Suggested Monday - Friday (Select Holidays Required)
Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for events or deadlines may be required.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
