Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a high-performing culture.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and grant management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, funding, and legal requirements.
- Support strategic planning and provide actionable financial insights to leadership.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and investment oversight.
- Collaborate across the organization to drive informed decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (Master’s preferred).
- 7 years of finance leadership in nonprofit, government, or philanthropic organizations.
- Experience managing budgets $3M and leading audits and complex reporting processes.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Track record of successfully working with teams, executive leadership, and boards.
- Proficiency with accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and donor/client management platforms.
