Job Description
The Resident Services Coordinator will support the Memory Care Coordinator with contact for residents, families, and staff regarding resident care needs. The RSC must be an excellent communicator as they need to ensure all parties are appropriately informed. In this position, you will work closely with the Health Services Administrator, MCC, RSC’s, and community nurses to ensure the accuracy of care for our treasured residents.

Job Description
The Resident Services Coordinator will support the Memory Care Coordinator with contact for residents, families, and staff regarding resident care needs. The RSC must be an excellent communicator as they need to ensure all parties are appropriately informed. In this position, you will work closely with the Health Services Administrator, MCC, RSC’s, and community nurses to ensure the accuracy of care for our treasured residents.
Duties Include
- Assisting MCC with resident service plans
- Assuring our team of Caregivers and Med Techs are appropriately trained and supported
- Health Services employee scheduling and on-call rotation assistance
- Performance management and staff development
- Collaborating with life enrichment staff on planning activity programs for Memory Care
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous Med Tech or Caregiver experience
- Professional experience working with senior populations with dementia
- Prior experience working in senior living, preferably involving medication administration
- Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug test
- Must have weekend availability

- Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
- Sincere appreciation for elders and observable respect for caregivers, med techs and the important work they do
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, residents, employees, and the general public.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret charting standards, physician orders, or administrative regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
